Now let us learn more about what you just did in your activity a while ago.

Making Shapes Using the Different Parts of the Body

In the first task, we mentioned each of the different parts of the body. These are the following:

• At the upper part of the body, we see:

liog-neck     ulo-head     bukton-arms

kamot-hand     siko-elbow

• At the lower part of the body we see:

mga batiis- legs      hawak- waist      tiil-foot

tuhod- knee      buol-buol- ankle

• Each part has the ability to form a shape.

Example:

The head is round in shape like a circle.

The fingers of our hands can create a variety of shapes such as a triangle, rectangle, and a heart.

Are you ready for the next task?

Do This!

Second Task

Directions: Draw the shape that you can form using each of the body part in 1 minute.
