Mga Dapat Buhaton (Things to Do)
This lesson will give you a lesson on comparing the set using the words "more than", "less than" and " as many as" and arranging groups from the greatest to the least or from the least to the greatest.
Hibaloi Kini (Know This)
Comparing a Set using the words "MORE THAN"
This is Boboy and Ana. Ana has 6 roses. Boboy has 8 roses.
If we compare the 2 sets we will say, the number in the first set is "more than" the number in the second set. In comparing, we use the words "MORE THAN".
Example: The roses of Boboy is MORE THAN the roses of Ana.
Comparing a Set using the words "LESS THAN"
This is Elicia and Boboy. They are playing woth marbled. Elicia has 10 marbles. Boboy has 13 marbled.
If we compare the 2 sets, we can say, the number in the first set is "less than" the second set. In comparing, we use the words "LESS THAN".
Example: Elicia's marbles is LESS THAN Boboy's.
Comparing a Set using the words "AS MANY AS"
This is Juan. He has 3 balls.
This is Roy. He also has 3 balls.
Juan's balls are the same amount as Roy's balls. If we compare 2 sets with the same amount of objects, we use the words "AS MANY AS"
Example: Juan's balls are AS MANY AS Roy's balls
Arranging Groups from the LEAST TO THE GREATEST
This is Albert. He received 1 shirt from his uncle, 3 shirts from his father, and 5 shirts from his grandma.
The T-shirts that Albert received are arranged from the LEAST (smallest) to the GREATEST.
*The contents of each group must be assembled or arranged correctly and comparatively.
Arranging Groups from the GREATEST to the LEAST
Mark went to the bookstore to buy pencils. He bought 8 white, 6 red, and 5 yellow pencils.
The pencils that Mark bought at the bookstore are arranged from GREATEST (biggest) to the LEAST. The contents of each group must be assembled to that they are arranged correctly and comparatively.

Mga Kinahanglan Hinumdoman (Things to Remember)
Comparing sets using the words "more than", "less than", and "as many as"
1. The contents of each group must be arranged to correctly compare.
2. If the first set is greater than the second set, the number of the first set is more than the second set.
3. If the first set is lesser than the second set, the number of the first set is less than the second set.
