The Spider

Barangay Kalipay is clean with a lot of trees. Many children would go there to hunt, play and find spiders.

One day, Koko, Kris and King went there. They played tag. Koko called Kris because he had something to show him. King and Kris ran fast.

When they got there, they looked up at the tree and saw a spider. They tried to grab it but Koko told them not to touch the spider because it was making a house. It was making a house with its web. They enjoyed watching the spider.










The Helpful Child (pg 24)

There was a girl who lived in a peaceful village. Her name was Lisa. When she had no school, she would wake up early in the morning to help with the household chores. She loved to sweep the floor of the living room. She would sweep the whole living room. 

After eating lunch, Lisa would wash the dishes. She would happily wash the plated, spoons, forls and cups.

She never forgot to water her mother's plants every afternoon. She even sang while she did it.

Her mama and papa were happy that she was a helpful child.
