Good day children!
In this module, we will learn ways to respect and love our parents. I hope that after you learn this lesson, you will put in your heart and work the love and respect for your parents.
Let us continue our lesson, let us measure one by one what you know about showing love and respect to your parents.

Kids do you love your parents? How do you show that you love them?
Listen to the story your parent will read you. Find out how children show their love and respect for their parents. Is it similar to what you show your parents.
Listen carefully so you can answer the questions after reading the story.
Boboy and Ana by Marites B. Rojo, PhD
There are 2 siblings named Boboy and Ana. They are so loved by their parents because they are loving and respectful children. They easily obey the commands of their parents.
When the two of them arrive home from school, they immediately bless. Then, they change their clothes and do their assignments. They are diligent in their schooling so their grades are high. It made their parents happy.
On Saturdays, they both help with household chores. Boboy helps his father cut grass while Ana helps her mother clean the house.
They also use "po" when speaking to their parents.
The siblings not only please their parents but also other people because they are good children.
Parents read the questions and have the children answer:
1. Why are Boboy and Ana so loved by their parents?
2. How do Boboy and Ana show their love and respect for their parents?
3. Do you want to be like Boboy and Ana? Why?
4. How do you show your parents your love and respect?
Parents are the most precious persons in your life. From your birth until the present, they have given you all the love and care you need. Like Boboy and Ana and children just like you, parents deserve love and respect from you. Nothing can surpass the love a parent has for his child. So it is appropriate to repay all their sacrifices by giving our love and respect to them.
There are many ways to show our parents our love and respect such as:
●helping with the household chores
●focusing on your studies
●giving pleasure/happiness such as singing, dancing, hugging or kissing them.
●giving a gift or a card on special occasions such as birthdays
●respond appropriately when called or spoken to by using "po" or "opo".
●obey their warnings or command
●giving allowances, understanding, having patience.
