We will learn
Before we proceed, I would like to know how much do you know about proper eating habits. Now, let us learn proper behavior that you need to when dining.
Today you will learn the following:
1. Learn proper eating etiquette at a restaurant or diner.
2. Show or demonstrate some simple etiquette at a restaurant.
3. Understand that good manners at the table or restaurant is a way to show respect and consideration for oneself and others.

Proper/good eating habits are healthy for us. A healthy child is a happy child. Parents want their children to grow healthy, strong, and happy.

Proper Manners in front of the Table
It is important for teachers and parents to teach children good eating habits. One of the best ways to teach children in the family, imitate and copy the behavior of their parents or adults they see.
Practicing good manners on a daily basis can lead to well- being and manners becoming second nature to children. On a regular basis, in the early years of adolescence, children develop the habit of good manners.
Proper Eating Habits:
Wash your hands before and after eating.
Sit upright in your chair. Huwag yumuko sa pagkain. Bite the food using your mouth.
Discuss/mention beautiful or good things.
If the food is far from you, ask for the food to be passed to you and thank the person for the favor.
Do not talk with your mouth full.
Eat quietly with your mouth closed. Swallow your food before you speak.
Get the amount of food that you can finish.
