But before we begin, I want you to understand that this is what we will be learning:

Simple Melodic Pattern- it is the pattern of tones, high or low in a song or piece of music.

Using the so-fa syllable "so" and "mi", sing and follow the direction as seen below.
Directions:
1. At "so", sing with a high sound or tone and touch your head with both hands.
2. At "mi", sing with a low sound or tone and touch your shoulders using both hands.

The note "so" - is located at the second line and represents a high sound/tone.
The note "mi" - is found at the first lineband represents a low sound/tone.
