Simple Melodic Pattern

Good morning! How are you today? I know that you want to start learning our new lesson for today. So let's proceed to Module 2 of Music where we will learn to sing a melodic pattern.

But before we begin, I want you to understand that this is what we will be learning:

1. Recognize a high tone "so" and a low tone "mi".

2. Sing a simple melodic pattern.

3. Being enthusisatic with the activities.

Let's Try This (Sulayan Nato)

Look at the pictures below. Imitate their sound.

Questions:

1. What animal or thing has a low tone?

2. What animal or thing has a high tone?

3. What syllable do you see if  it is a high tone?

4. What syllable do you see if it is a high tone?

Let us Learn (Magtuon Kita)

Pitch- this is how high or how low a tone is

Staff-  5 lines where the notes are placed

        - here we can see how high or how low a note is.

Simple Melodic Pattern- it is the pattern of tones, high or low in a song or piece of music.

Let's Practice (Magbansay Kita)

Circle the tones that are high and box the tones that are low.

Let's Practice Some More (Magbansay Pa Kita)

Using the so-fa syllable "so" and "mi", sing and follow the direction as seen below.

Directions:

1. At "so", sing with a high sound or tone and touch your head with both hands.

2. At "mi", sing with a low sound or tone and touch your shoulders using both hands.

Remember This ( Hiumdoman Nato)

Pitch- this is how high or how low a song is.

The note "so" - is located at the second line and represents a high sound/tone.

The note "mi" - is found at the first lineband represents a low sound/tone.

Simple Melodic Pattern- this is a pattern of tones that are high or low in a song or music.



Let's Analyze (Susihon Nato)

Follow the rhythmic pattern of the song "Duyan". In your singing, clearly sing the sound or tone that is high and low.
